Request Offboarding

Offboarding requests are used when an employee is leaving the organization or when an Identity needs to be deprovisioned. After initiating an offboarding request, Permission Assist walks you through a series of questions. Refer to the sections below for more information about each step.

Who

Description

Who is being offboarded?

Used to select the employee who is leaving the organization.

Tip: If you start typing the name of the employee/Identity, the list is filtered and easier to find within the list.

 

When

This area is displayed after completing the required information in the "Who" step, and allows you to determine when provisioning of the offboarding request can begin.

Question/Option

When is this effective?

Select one of the following options.

Option Description
Immediate Select this option if you want the offboarding process to be completed as soon as possible.
Scheduled

Select this option if the offboarding process can be completed on a future day/time. For example, if the employee has given a two-week notice, you can schedule work to be completed two weeks from today.

After selecting this option, click on the date and time link next to "Needed by" (see example below). Then, select the date and time the work needs to be completed.

Use the slider to select the time the work needs to be completed (see example below).

 

 

Comment

This area allows you to add any additional notes, instructions, or comments that may be helpful for the Provision Team as they offboard this person.

When offboarding employees, it can be very helpful for the team to know the exact day and time the employee will be leaving.
